The site is nowhere near complete(I have not even put my own tree in full yet)
so any corrections, additions, comments or help of any kind will be most welcome.
If you are happy to have photo's put on the site email them to me and I will
upload them.
The origins of the name Culverhouse are a bit obscure, but from my research I
have found that a culverhouse was a dove cote and there are many place names
with the word culverhouse in them(i.e Culverhouse meadow,Culverhouse
lane,Culverhouse end etc).
There are many spellings of the name including Culverhowse,Culverhawse and
Culverous.
The Culverhouse Coat of Arms features 3 white(sometimes silver) doves carrying
olive branchs with a red shield background.
